ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The father of a 26-year-old man who drowned in a creek near the Buffalo Bills' stadium says he still doesn't know why his son was ejected from last Thursday night's game against the Miami Dolphins.

David Gerken Sr. tells local media outlets that he's still waiting to hear from authorities on why his son, also named David Gerken, was tossed out of Ralph Wilson Stadium at halftime. The father says his son headed to a restroom, then called his brother and told him he was being ejected.

David Gerken Jr. told his brother to meet him after the game at a bar near the stadium. When he didn't show up, the brother reported him missing.

The elder Gerken joined the search and says he found his son's body in the creek around 7 a.m. Friday.
