A lightning storm in the Green Bay area delayed the game between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers after the first quarter.

Officials cleared the field of players and coaches.

But it took a little while for fans to heed the stadium announcer's request to find shelter in the Lambeau Field concourses. 

Once the lightning started flashing in the distance and rain started pouring, fans began heading for cover. 

 

 

Here's how it looked inside the stadium, where fans were rubbing elbows while waiting out the rain. 

 

Players returned to the field about 30 minutes after they went to the locker room with the Packers leading 14-0. They went through warmups again before play resumed about 15 minutes later.
