NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (7)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 8) — Win over Jets not artistic, but they'll take
it.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 7) — This isn't a dominant Patriots'
team. But it's still a dangerous one thanks to Tom Brady.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 6)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 7) — Need to be able to
finish on defense in the fourth quarter ... becoming a bit of an issue
don't you think!

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 9) — Tom Brady rallies the Pats at the end of
regulation and then again in overtime. But after another
less-than-impressive performance against the Jets, there's still
something missing with this team. Lots of work ahead for Bill
Belichick.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 8) — The Patriots lead all NFL
defenses with 18 takeaways, including 11 fumble recoveries. Green Bay
hasn't recovered a single fumble yet this season.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 10) — Tom Brady said that he and his
teammates may have "spoiled" their fans with all that success. I don't
know about that. What I do know is that he and his teammates can't
close out opponents, and that's a problem.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 8) — Those fourth-quarter breakdowns have
fans fidgety in Foxborough.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 6) — It looks like the
Patriots are going to have to outscore teams to win because the
defense struggles. They are still good enough to get it done with
Brady and company.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 7) — The Pats prevailed against a pesky Jets
team. They have to start to assert themselves defensively to be able
to contend at the end.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 6) — The Patriots already have played in
four games decided by three points or less. That's one more than all
of last season, including the playoffs.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 10) — This team keeps performing below
expectations, perhaps, as Tom Brady has suggested, they have spoiled
us and our expectations are too high.
