PITTSBURGH (AP) — Charlie Batch is back on the field for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Plaxico Burress might be next. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday the 37-year-old Batch will start at quarterback on Sunday in Cleveland and the team is considering bringing Burress back to provide depth at wide receiver. Batch is 5-2 while subbing for Roethlisberger through the years. Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich are both out indefinitely with rib injuries. Batch passed for 208 yards in a 27-0 victory over St. Louis last December. The Steelers (6-4) are down two receivers at the moment after Jerricho Cotchery fractured his ribs in Sunday night's loss to Baltimore. Antonio Brown has missed the last two games with an ankle injury. Plaxico spent the first five seasons of his career with the Steelers from 2000-2004. ___ Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP_NFL

Veteran backup Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch (16) lines up to take a snap during the NFL football team's practice on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in Pittsburgh. Batch will backup Byron Leftwich, who will start Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens in place of the injured Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger said he dislocated a rib as well as getting the sprained SC joint in his shoulder when he was sacked in the third quarter of the game against Kansas City. Roethlisberger said the rib issue is a bigger concern. (AP Photo/Keith Srakocic)
