DETROIT (AP) — Detroit Lions offensive tackle Jeff Backus is inactive against the Houston Texans, ending his 186-game starting streak. Rookie Riley Reiff replaced Backus at left tackle Thursday. Backus is out with a hamstring injury after starting every game of his 12-year career. Detroit did have starting safety Louis Delmas back in the lineup after he missed three straight games with an injured left knee. The Lions were without two injured starters on defense: cornerback Jacob Lacey and defensive tackle Corey Williams. The Texans were missing three injured starters on defense — linebacker Tim Dobbins, cornerback Johnathan Joseph and nose tackle Shaun Cody — along with backup running back Ben Tate. ___ Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP_NFL
