Get that flag outta here!

Seems as if perhaps _ just perhaps _ Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters might have disagreed with an official's late penalty call.

With a little more than 2 minutes left in KC's game at the New York Jets, Peters reacted to a ruling of defensive holding on teammate Steven Nelson by picking up the yellow flag from the end zone and tossing it into the stands. TV showed fans ecstatic over getting that unusual souvenir.

The play in question was a 2-point conversion try. The Jets got to go for it a second time after the penalties on Nelson and on Peters _ who was called for unsportsmanlike conduct for his flag toss _ and they made it, setting the final score of their 38-31 win over the Chiefs.

Peters was not ejected for his tantrum, but he apparently thought he was, because he walked off the sideline afterward.
