The two Super Bowl quarterbacks have a lot of love for each other and aren't afraid to express it.

While being interviewed by ESPN during Super Bowl media day, New England's Tom Brady and Atlanta's Matt Ryan heaped effusive praise upon each other.

"I learned a lot just watching from afar," Ryan said. "His consistency for his career is very impressive. That's probably the biggest thing, just the way he works week in, week out, year in, year out. He plays the game the right way and plays really hard."

Then it was Brady's turn.

"He's had an incredible career," he said. To be the first pick overall and come with all those expectations and to fulfill them in the city of Atlanta is pretty cool. He's a great player, he's leading a great football team and it's going to be a great test."

But the mutual admiration is more than just being polite. Ryan considered Brady one of his idols coming up and Brady kept track of the younger Ryan when he played just down the road at Boston College.
