Injured Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier is out of the hospital.
Shazier made his way to a private box at Heinz Field for Pittsburgh's showdown with New England.
The 25-year-old Shazier is still recovering from a spinal cord injury suffered during Pittsburgh's win in Cincinnati two weeks ago. He underwent spinal stabilization surgery on Dec. 6. Team doctors said late last week that Shazier had begun the rehabilitation process.
The team placed Shazier on injured reserve last Monday, ending his season. The extent of Shazier's injury has not been released. He appeared to be sitting and not standing when cameras caught him waving his Terrible Towel as Pittsburgh's defense took the field.
