LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — The Chicago Bears defense is aging and beaten up, and finding it difficult to close out games.

Last Sunday's blown lead against Seattle and a rush defense that continues to leak is playing without Brian Urlacher and probably without NFL interception leader Tim Jennings. Nick Roach will replace Urlacher against Minnesota this weekend and Geno Hayes takes over at Roach's strongside linebacker spot. Kelvin Hayden would be the replacement for Jennings.

Dealing better with third down and keeping Adrian Peterson bottled up are the tasks this Sunday as the Bears try to avoid a fourth loss in five games.
