Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson paid homage on Sunday to perhaps the best quarterback in Houston history.

Watson donned a throwback powder blue Warren Moon Houston Oilers jersey on Sunday as he arrived at the stadium for the Texans game against the Browns.

After a photo of Watson wearing the No. 1 jersey was tweeted, Moon retweeted it and added: "Grateful that a future NFL great honors the NFL past....Now go be the best."

Watson, who was the 12th overall pick in this year's draft, became Houston starter at halftime of the season opener.

Moon played for the Oilers from 1984-1993 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006.
